James Alderton
James co-founded BeMoreeDriven Capital in 2016 after a decade in growth-stage technology investing and senior operating roles at two enterprise software companies that achieved successful IPOs. He brings deep pattern recognition across enterprise AI, infrastructure software, and data platforms.
Prior to founding BeMoreeDriven, James served as Chief Financial Officer at Veridia Systems, a cloud infrastructure company, and before that held principal investment roles at two institutional growth equity firms with combined AUM exceeding $4 billion. He began his career in the technology investment banking division at Goldman Sachs.
James holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics. He serves on the boards of four BeMoreeDriven portfolio companies and is an active member of the National Venture Capital Association.
Claire Montgomery
Claire co-founded BeMoreeDriven Capital with James Alderton and leads the firm's investment strategy across fintech and financial infrastructure. She brings an exceptionally rare combination of institutional investment expertise and direct product experience building regulated financial services technology.
Before co-founding BeMoreeDriven, Claire was a Partner at a growth equity firm where she led investments in payments infrastructure, insurance technology, and capital markets software. She previously served as VP of Product at a leading real-time payments company and as an analyst in J.P. Morgan's Technology, Media and Telecom investment banking group.
Claire holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Princeton University. She serves on the board of the Fintech Innovation Lab, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and is a regular speaker at leading industry conferences.
William Draper
William leads BeMoreeDriven's investments in enterprise AI and automation. He spent six years at Google's venture arm investing in infrastructure and developer tooling before joining the firm, and previously served as Director of Business Development at Palantir Technologies.
He holds an MSc in Computer Science from Stanford University and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College. William currently serves on the boards of NeuralFlow and Strataxis.
Sophie Harrington
Sophie focuses on health technology and data analytics investments. She previously led corporate development at a major academic medical center and held principal roles at two healthcare-focused growth equity firms. She brings clinical, operational, and financial expertise to due diligence and portfolio support.
Sophie holds an MD from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She serves on the board of Veridia Health and is an advisory member of the Rock Health Advisory Network.
Alexandra Reeves
Alexandra joined BeMoreeDriven from Morgan Stanley's technology investment banking group where she advised growth-stage companies on capital raises and strategic transactions. She supports deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence processes, and portfolio company financial planning across all investment verticals.
She holds a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University, graduating magna cum laude. Alexandra is a CFA Level III candidate and is actively involved in the Women in Venture initiative.
